Dedication...

Welcome back!

Sooo...once that darn Henry was born, posting here disappeared.  To be honest, it was just so much easier to post on Facebook and Google+.  But now, I'm going to try and use FB less and less and just use Google+ to share these posts.  Facebook is fun and I love catching up with friends and family there, but it's made me lose my writing.  It's so easy to just jot down a few words and post a picture, but I want to start actually writing again.  

Of course, HERE, it might mostly just be pictures because, let's face it, Henry in pictures is so much better than in the written word.  But I'm hoping to fill up Leaning Shanty with my writing, so make sure to check in with me there...leaningshantyfarm.blogspot.com.

For today, I post some cute Henry pics...  And I'm actually hoping to carve out some time to back-post photos from the past year...at some point...don't hold me to it.  ;)

Oh, did I forget to mention it's Henry 11th month bday? :) Happy 11 Months, Henry!!  Mama & Daddy Love You!!

One Last Sneak Peek...

Even more room progress...

And this is the last sneak peek until the final reveal.  I've got some styling to do...that's right...I said Styling!  :)

The main furniture in the room is the crib, two ladder shelves (one on each side of the bed), a glider/recliner, & the dresser/changing table.  Now I just need to add all the adorable accessories...pictures, the blanket curtains, toys...eek!  I can't wait!!

And can I just say...my hubby did THE BEST job on the paint, trim & putting all the annoying furniture together.  I think he's a keeper.  Let's hope our son turns out JUST like him!

More Progress...

This painting thing is going sloooooooooooow.

Who knew that painting a room (including ceiling, door & trim) could take sooooo looooooong!  (Doesn't help that we had to actually PUT trim in the room.)  All credit goes to Drew...he's been working his butt off these last couple of days.  But I WILL take credit for the color! 

Let the Painting Begin...

After much rearranging (ie. putting a bunch of stuff all over the house), the nursery reno has begun! 

Paint color going on and it's all uphill from there! ;)

I cannot WAIT to start decorating!  Just gotta be patient and wait for the primer and paint to be dry first, though.  *sigh*

The light blue is the primer, the final wall color is the sample patch of midnight blue...a color called Gentleman's Gray.

So yeah, I knew I'd grown some these last couple weeks, but comparing my 30 week to my 26 week photo was SHOCKING!

Here's tonight shot...30 weeks & 3 Days...

Yep!  I'm sticking out there!
